Good news from Slovenia: The STRABAG Real Estate team celebrated the signing of the purchase contract of the DCO office building at the end of November. The modern office building will be the new headquarters of STRABAG Slovenia.
After the successful signing of the contract by the new owner, ALFI RE d.o.o., the closing took place a few days later with the signing of the Share Transfer Agreement. The modern office building will also be the new headquarters of STRABAG in Slovenia. Almost the entire first, second and third floors of the DCO building have been the new home of 94 STRABAG colleagues since the end of October 2022.
The office complex is located in the so-called "Little Manhattan" of Ljubljana, directly on Dunajska cesta. Surrounded by banks, hotels and office buildings, the DCO building was built in the middle of an up-and-coming business district in the Bežigrad district. The advantages of the new office complex are obvious: Modern architecture paired with efficient and contemporary workplace requirements, as well as a harmoniously designed green space concept.
Modern and pleasant working environment
Floor-to-ceiling glass facades create an inspiring working environment inside. Flexible rental units can be used as individual, group or open-space offices and can be customized. Bright, open and friendly premises create an inspiring atmosphere and invite mutual exchange. On the leafy panorama terraces on the fifth and sixth floors, breaks can be enjoyed in a relaxed manner or the end of the working day can be celebrated in comfort.
Sustainability in planning and execution
"Numerous measures, such as the efficient heating and cooling system, concrete core activation, testify to the sustainability of the building," reports project manager Andreas Rom. "They save energy and important resources." A DGNB Gold certificate confirms the sustainable efforts in the planning and execution of the office building.
The first rental agreements have also already been fixed: Next to STRABAG d.o.o., Mac Donalds will set up its new local headquarters on an area of approx. 714 sqm in 2023. Rental agreements have also already been concluded for the remaining rental space on the first floor and on the 1st, 5th and 6th floors. The leasehold improvements for this space are scheduled to start in January 2023 and should be fully completed in the 2nd quarter of 2023 if liquidation goes according to plan, so that all rental space is occupied.
